"I don’t use sunscreen. The truth is, I have never used sunscreen. It just never made a whole lot of sense to me. Sunscreen has come under fire in recent years for being linked to skin cancer (at the very least, it simply doesn’t work which gives people false hope).
Sunscreen contains 15 FDA approved chemicals. Nine of those are known to be endocrine disruptors. Not good. What’s worse is that for sunscreen to work, you have to constantly reapply it. The chemicals in sunscreen don’t just hang out on the surface of the skin, they soak into the skin (which is an organ) and eventually end up in the bloodstream. Again, not good."
